When She Cried, Her Eyes Got Hurt, But She Couldn’t Stop Sobbing When Knowing That She’s Safe

Vena was found cowering in a sewer on 17 Nov 2022. We are not sure how she got there, just heard her voice. It’s dark inside and took a while for us to locate her. My heart was broken when we got her out.

Covered by dirt, she was shivering uncontrollably, hardly able to move with a rotted front leg.

Luckily, even in her weakened state, Vena was still able to eat on her own. Perhaps it was her first meal in a long time.

As we gently lifted her out of the filth and into the light, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of hope amidst the despair.

Despite the odds stacked against her, Vena’s spirit remained unbroken, a testament to the resilience of animals in the face of adversity.

We knew that her journey to recovery would be a long and difficult one, but with the love and support of our team, we were determined to give her the second chance she deserved
