Meet Mingo!! He was born on the street, learning to defend himself against his first enemy, humans. Time has taken its toll, leaving Mingo completely deteriorated. Due to his ugly appearance, he was shunned and chased away. Fortunately, we managed to find and rescue him. Exhausted and wary, he hesitated to trust the outside world.
The first tests have been done, and tomorrow we receive results. Mingo has severe ear and skin infections, along with a fracture in his back left leg. Suspected to be a survivor of distemper, we’re awaiting PCR results. On a positive note, his blood work is promising. Mingo cried during his first bath, but it’s a crucial step in his rehabilitation.
Mingo’s progress is slow; he’s still skin and bones. Under treatment, we hope for improvement. His eye and ear infections are improving, and he’s gained weight. Despite his lingering distrust, Mingo allows touch and walks on a leash.
Mr. Mingo remains hospitalized, awaiting PCR results. Yet, there’s hope; all tests came back negative. Though it may be late for an old dog like him, Mingo transforms into a youthful pup. He’s gained weight, and his health is improving remarkably. We’re grateful to all who made his recovery possible.
