Was this a human action? How could they treat a dog like that? From afar, I watched the dog struggling, as if it were desperately trying to escape death. He had been hit by a car and left lying there, abandoned by the driver who struck him. This wasn’t the saddest part—passing drivers also ignored him, indifferent to the suffering before their eyes.
The dog was still fighting for its life, despite hope seeming almost lost. It was the most resilient dog I had ever seen. Even though he was unconscious, he was still trying to find someone to save him. I cried easily over such things, and this sight broke my heart. It was so unfortunate for him to endure such a tragic fate.
We had to rush him to the local vet before it was too late. If we failed, it would be a pain in our hearts for a long time. This dog did not give up, and I believed that God would not abandon those who strive against their circumstances. He lay in the clinic with a traumatic brain injury. His eyes were responsive, and he had a gulp reflex, but he did not wake up. The doctor said his chance of survival was 50/50.
Today, a miracle happened: the poor dog opened his eyes. He tried to get up but couldn’t. His condition was improving, and we began to believe everything would be fine. Our mission was to rescue this dog who had been through so much. Despite the slow recovery, he started eating well, which pleased the doctors immensely.
Yesterday, for the first time, he stood on all four legs. Like many dogs, he loved to be petted, and now he was learning to walk again. The doctors fought hard to save him, and their efforts were beginning to show results. The dog is still at the clinic, and his treatment continues. We will keep updating on his condition as he fights to regain his strength and find happiness again.
