Valente’s journey began in despair, abandoned in a ditch without the ability to walk, hungry, and alone for days until a compassionate soul rescued him. He arrived at the NGO Patinha Salva weak and malnourished, but his spirit shone through with a wagging tail, igniting hope in his caregivers. Despite suggestions to give up, there were those determined to fight for his life.
Under the care of veterinarians and animal protectors, Valente slowly regained strength. Every small improvement marked a victory over hunger and neglect. With dedicated rehabilitation, including a wheelchair to aid his mobility, Valente learned to walk again, growing stronger and more confident each day.
His recovery touched everyone who witnessed it, reinforcing faith in humanity and the power of love. Despite being a pitbull, often misunderstood due to stereotypes, Valente’s resilience and affection won hearts. His adoption by a loving family marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with love, care, and happiness, alongside an older sister named Cacau.
