Let’s start with the good news, Oasis have got back together and they’ll be doing a bunch of gigs next year.
It’s what so many fans have been waiting to hear as Noel and Liam seem to have patched things up enough to agree to share a stage again.
“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” they said.
All in all there’s 14 dates announced for the UK and Ireland leg of the Oasis reunion tour, going from Cardiff to Manchester to London to Edinburgh and then Dublin.
A world tour is expected to follow, with dates for that due to be announced – and tickets go on sale at 9am on 31 August in the UK, or 8am if you’re in Ireland.

Now for the bad news, the Ticketmaster site is surely going to buckle under the strain isn’t it?
There are going to be blokes who’ve spent the past 15 years waiting for the day they could get their beloved Oasis t-shirt out of the wardrobe again and Saturday is going to be huge for them.
However, if a million of them all try and rush onto the Ticketmaster site at the same time, along with pretty much everyone else wanting to see Oasis, then it’s going to be a nightmare.
When Oasis announced their new tour for 2025, they had a bit on their site saying: “We strongly advise that those wishing to purchase tickets register in advance of the sale with the relevant ticket agencies.”
With such a rush for tickets, you’ll need to be as quick as possible to get them and there’s a few things you can do to speed up the process.

The main thing you can do ahead of time is go onto the ticket website you’ll be buying from and create an account ahead of time.
Have your details already registered and it’ll remove a major obstacle for you while also easing pressure on the page.
A steady internet connection will help too and despite what you might want to do, constantly refreshing the page won’t help much either.
Ticketmaster have also asked you not to sit on the event page waiting for the countdown, as you’ll only need to refresh it to buy tickets anyway.
Some Oasis fans have also said you might want to get ‘ticket insurance’, as though Noel and Liam have said their ‘guns have fallen silent’ there’s always a chance that something will happen.
It’s been a stormy relationship between the brothers in the past and some folks desperate to see Oasis have kept everything crossed that they’ll be able to avoid falling out before the tour starts.
You can get ticket insurance when you’re buying tickets, and it’ll cover you whether you can’t make it or the show gets called off.
Where can I buy tickets?
Fans will be able to buy tickets from 9am on Saturday 31st August from Ticketmaster, SEE Tickets and GIGSANDTOURS.

British music is set for a Biblical summer after Oasis confirmed their return following a long 15 years without the iconic rock band.
Noel and Liam Gallagher simultaneously announced the return of the Manchester band, with 14 stadium and field concerts announced across the UK and Ireland in 2025.
The two brothers have seemingly been at war ever since Noel quit the band in 2009, saying he could no longer work with Liam after the frontman reportedly swung a guitar that ‘nearly took Noel’s head off’ at the Rock en Seine Festival in Paris.
But after teasing the return of Oasis over the August bank holiday weekend, the rock ‘n’ roll stars confirmed they had reconciled as they announced on social media: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Where are Oasis playing and when will tickets be for sale?
So far, 14 dates have been announced for the Oasis reunion tour with rumour out there that more could be on the way, including a headline slot at Glastonbury.
But that seems to have been cooled by the band itself, which said: “These dates will be the bands exclusive European appearances.”
Eight concerts will take place in July 2025 and six in August 2025 across Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.
The Cardiff gigs will take place at the Principality Stadium on 4 and 5 July, 2025 with the Manchester gigs taking place at Heaton Park on 11, 12, 19, and 20 July, 2025.

Oasis will then head to Wembley Stadium in London on 25 and 26 July as well as 2 and 3 August.
Two dates will be played at Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on 8 and 9 August, followed by two final concerts at Croke Park in Dublin on 16 and 17 August.
Tickets go on sale for the UK dates at 9.00am on Saturday, 31 August. Importantly for the concerts in Dublin, tickets will be available from 8.00am on the same day.
Is there an Oasis presale?
Oasis announced a presale will take place ahead of the general sale that takes place on Saturday.
Those wanting to try and secure tickets early will have to enter the presale ballot by 7pm on Wednesday (28 August) to get the chance to secure a spot in the ballot.
If you are successful, you’ll get an email confirming your presale code by Friday morning (30 August), with the presale taking place on Friday afternoon.
Access to the presale doesn’t guarantee tickets, the band has stressed.

After about 15 years away, it looks like Noel and Liam Gallagher have managed to soothe their feud and get cracking with an Oasis reunion.
There were already some big clues pointing towards a comeback following various reports that the Gallagher brothers were putting the band back together.
And if you’re hoping for something a bit more official then the band have announced their reunion tour across the UK and Ireland for next year, with world tour dates set to come further down the line
Liam and Noel are on board with the tour, and have told their fans that tickets will go on sale at 9am on 31 August, or 8am if you’re buying in Ireland.
Oasis are really coming back, and their first reunion gig will be in Cardiff on 4 July next year.
The Sunday Times reported that Oasis were going to be getting back together and will play nights at Wembley Stadium as well as a number of gigs at Heaton Park in Manchester.
Not only are they doing that, with four dates at each venue, they’ve got two at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, two in Murrayfield in Edinburgh and another couple of dates in Dublin.
The Manchester Evening News reported that when tickets went on sale they’d be ‘priced over the £100 mark’, and you can bet there’ll be huge demand for it.
Given the reaction to all of those teasers about something happening with Oasis, people will be queueing round the door to pay that and see the band back on stage again.
Thanks to the band’s announcement there’ll be plenty of fans checking to see if their old Oasis t-shirt still fits them and loads are surely just waiting for 31 August when tickets go on sale with their fingers crossed that the website hasn’t crashed.

Oasis separated back in 2009 following a backstage spat between Noel and Liam at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
The band had been due to perform at set but the crowd was told that the show would not be going on, and shortly afterwards a statement from Noel was released.
He’d said: “It is with some sadness and great relief… I quit Oasis tonight.
“People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”
Both brothers continued with their music careers afterwards but Oasis fans always hoped they’d be able to patch things up and get back together.
“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” they have since said, so it seems as though their feud has been calmed and we’re going to be in for some amazing music as a result.

Who could have predicted it? Oasis fans are already in a bitter ticket row over who gets top priority for the upcoming reunion tour..
Earlier this morning (27 August), Liam and Noel Gallagher officially confirmed the band will be going on a reunion tour with the kick off quickly beginning.
I mean, people were already complaining before the announcement was made following teasers and rumours over the bank holiday weekend.
And yep, huge shock, millennials are claiming they deserve a ‘priority’ for the Oasis reunion tour tickets.
It’s been nearly 15 years since the band split in 2009 and the fans who were around in their heyday reckon they should get first dibs on getting to see them back together.

Oasis announced the 14-date UK and Ireland tour as they said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
And it’s been anything but silence since with offices playing non-stop tracks by the band and the chat on X never-ending.
That includes the millennials banging on about how they apparently deserve tickets, with many ‘fans’ even creating fictional women to lash out at.
One wrote: “Imagine waiting 15 years for Oasis to reform only to lose out on tickets to Chloe, 21 from Stockport who just wants to hear Wonderwall live. #oasisreunion.”
I mean, so what if ‘Chloe’ wants to hear Wonderwall live so she buys a ticket?
And people continued to slam: “Needs to be a loyalty system in place for oasis tickets so no wonder wall warriors get a hold of them before folk who deserve them.”

While another went on to claim: “40 years olds and over should get priority for Oasis tickets. Isn’t the time for all these youngsters to start jumping on the bandwagon.”
Let’s break it to this one, he is ‘that guy’ as he wrote: “Really don’t want to be that guy, but do think first priority for Oasis tickets should go to people who were there in the 90s.
“Test should be proof of birthdate and the ability to pick the Alessi twins out of a random lineup.”
A fifth said: “If Oasis get back together I hope tickets are bought by people who want to be there, and love their music. Not teenagers who only know Wonderwall!”
But others slammed people for kicking off as they wrote: “The generational row about Oasis tickets is bollocks.
Some were inventing fictional women (X)
Or introducing some sort of criteria (X)

“Youngsters today have f**k all. They deserve to see and feel how a working-class band gave something so special to so many.”
One user even wrote: “’OaSiS tIcKeTs ShOuLd Be PrIoRiTy FoR oVeR 40’s. Shut up you bunch of wet blankets.
“Some of us aren’t over the hill yet but did spend our childhoods growing up to their music.”
And another summed it up pretty perfectly: “’Oasis are overrated’ vs ‘I’m the oasis ticket police and I’ll decide whether or not you deserve to see them’.
“The two most nauseating people you’ve met battling it out for interactions.”
Bring on the ticket police.

Oasis fans must be having the time of their life this morning after the band announced that they were getting back together for a reunion tour after almost 15 years apart.
“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” the band have announced as they revealed the dates they’d be performing in the UK and Ireland next year.
It all kicks off on 4 July next year with an opening show in the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, before shows in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

That won’t be the end of it, however, as there are expected to be dates announced for an Oasis world tour afterwards, with dates yet to be announced.
As you can imagine, the Oasis fans who’ve been waiting for years for this are absolutely loving things, and whomever controls the playlist at LADbible Towers has stuck on nothing but Oasis songs since the announcement.
However, fans are also engaging in plenty of speculation over the tour dates as they’re wondering whether there’s going to be something else to come in the UK.
Specifically, Glastonbury.
The festival will run from 25 to 29 June next year, and that’s got a lot of Oasis fans wondering whether the band will headline Glastonbury to open their tour instead of kicking things off in Cardiff.
Fans have said the tour dates announcement ‘leaves a big gaping hole during Glastonbury week’ and said they thought it would be ‘nailed on’ that Noel and Liam Gallagher would show up.
There definitely is a gap where they’d be able to do it, and it’d be huge.
Oasis last headlined Glastonbury in 2004, and since they’ve said that the shows ‘will not be televised’, them being on the Glasto broadcast would be the only way people not getting tickets could see Oasis on TV.
However, hold your horses, as according to PA they understand Oasis won’t be performing at Glastonbury.
They’ve said their reunion tour will not be televised, the only way to be sure of seeing it is getting a ticket. (Simon Emmett/Fear PR/PA Wire)
There’s still plenty of time for that to change as the next iteration of the festival is almost a year away, but don’t go buying a Glastonbury ticket thinking it’s a guarantee that you’ll get to see Oasis there.
Tickets for the Oasis reunion tour go on sale on 31 August, and you can bet there’s going to be one hell of a scramble to get them.
Both Noel and Liam have tweeted ‘this is it, this is happening’ and announced that it’ll be 9am in the UK and 8am in Ireland this Saturday when the time to buy tickets begins.
Now all you can do is wait for then and hope the website doesn’t crash, although it probably will.
It’s the only way you can be sure to see them.
