How many Oasis tickets are expected to go on sale as full capacities confirmed

Fans of the Gallagher brothers fear that they won’t get their hands on a ticket for their reunion tour – but there’s plenty to go around

It’s not even been 24 hours since the Gallagher brothers confirmed their epic comeback, but fans are already fretting about getting their hands on a ticket.

Liam and Noel are finally letting bygones be bygones and will be taking to the stage together next year, as the siblings announced a string of dates in the UK and Ireland.

Imagine how proud their beloved mum Peggy must be, eh?

After sending the entire country into a tizz over the weekend while teasing the announcement, the no-longer-warring duo officially confirmed the rumours that they were reuniting this morning (27 August).

The band let music lovers know what dates to get in their diaries for 2025 while announcing they had called a truce on their long-running feud.

“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” they said.

The band will get back together in a number of places that are close to their heart for the tour, titled Oasis Live ’25, including their hometown of Manchester, while they will also pay homage to their Irish roots too.

But Wales is the place where the brothers will be belting out tunes together for the first time since they split in 2009, as their tour will kick off with gigs at the Cardiff Principality Stadium on 4 and 5 July, 2025.

Following that, Liam, 51, and Noel, 57, will head up north to rock the stage for four nights at Heaton Park – which sits on more than 600-acres – on 11, 12, 19 and 20 July.

The Gallagher brothers are then set to head down to London to play Wembley Stadium on 25 and 26 July, and then again on 2 and 3 August.

After that, Oasis will play at Murrayfield in Edinburgh on 8 and 9 August, before their legendary comeback tour comes to an end after shows on 16 and 17 August in Dublin’s Croke Park.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday (31 August) – and the fear of not getting one has already set in for a lot of fans.

Even though the venues for Oasis Live ’25 are all massive, they sadly can’t squeeze all of us in, so there will no doubt be a few disappointed people who don’t manage to bag a ticket this weekend.

But still, you shouldn’t give up hope just yet, as there’s still a decent chance of you getting one.

Take Heaton Park, for example – according to Greater Manchester’s Night Time Economy Adviser, Sacha Lord, the beauty spot can fit a fair few parka-wearing music fans in it.

The entrepreneur, who was instrumental in the creation of The Warehouse Project, knows a thing or two about Heaton Park and it’s capacity, seen as though he has hosted Parklife in there every year for the last decade or so.

And today he explained that there will be a capacity of 80,000 people at each of the Oasis gigs next year.

So for those who can’t be bothered doing the maths, that means that 320,000 lucky buggers will get a chance to see Noel and Liam at their four gigs in Heaton Park.

In comparison, Wembley – which is the largest stadium in the country – has 90,000 seats, while 82,300 can cram into Dublin’s Croke Park.

On the smaller end of the scale, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium can accommodate 74,500 people and 67,144 can fit inside Scotland’s Murrayfield Stadium.

So, if you add all that up, it means that more than one million tickets will be going on sale for the Oasis tour.

Or, 1,127,888 to be exact.

Speaking what Oasis Live ’25 will bring to Manchester, night tsar Sacha said: “The Oasis reunion will create a hugely positive surge in hospitality.

“The impact of welcoming 80,000 people each night for the four planned gigs at Heaton Park cannot be underestimated and we are expecting an estimated benefit to the Greater Manchester economy of over £15 million across the four events.

“Events aren’t just about ticket sales, they have huge impacts on the local area and our hotels, pubs, bars, restaurants will all see the benefit, including extra hours for staff, as well as renewed global attention on the region and its cultural history.

“We are immensely proud of our music heritage here in Greater Manchester and we are excited to welcome the band home.”

So are we, Sacha. So are we.

They’ll be some of the most in-demand tickets the UK has ever seen

After about 15 years away, it looks like Noel and Liam Gallagher have managed to soothe their feud and get cracking with an Oasis reunion.

There were already some big clues pointing towards a comeback following various reports that the Gallagher brothers were putting the band back together.

And if you’re hoping for something a bit more official then the band have announced their reunion tour across the UK and Ireland for next year, with world tour dates set to come further down the line

Liam and Noel are on board with the tour, and have told their fans that tickets will go on sale at 9am on 31 August, or 8am if you’re buying in Ireland.

Oasis are really coming back, and their first reunion gig will be in Cardiff on 4 July next year.

The Sunday Times reported that Oasis were going to be getting back together and will play nights at Wembley Stadium as well as a number of gigs at Heaton Park in Manchester.

Not only are they doing that, with four dates at each venue, they’ve got two at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, two in Murrayfield in Edinburgh and another couple of dates in Dublin.

The Manchester Evening News reported that when tickets went on sale they’d be ‘priced over the £100 mark’, and you can bet there’ll be huge demand for it.

Given the reaction to all of those teasers about something happening with Oasis, people will be queueing round the door to pay that and see the band back on stage again.

Thanks to the band’s announcement there’ll be plenty of fans checking to see if their old Oasis t-shirt still fits them and loads are surely just waiting for 31 August when tickets go on sale with their fingers crossed that the website hasn’t crashed.

Oasis separated back in 2009 following a backstage spat between Noel and Liam at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

The band had been due to perform at set but the crowd was told that the show would not be going on, and shortly afterwards a statement from Noel was released.

He’d said: “It is with some sadness and great relief… I quit Oasis tonight.

“People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”

Both brothers continued with their music careers afterwards but Oasis fans always hoped they’d be able to patch things up and get back together.

“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” they have since said, so it seems as though their feud has been calmed and we’re going to be in for some amazing music as a result.

It’s going to be a mad scramble at 9am on Saturday

Let’s start with the good news, Oasis have got back together and they’ll be doing a bunch of gigs next year.

It’s what so many fans have been waiting to hear as Noel and Liam seem to have patched things up enough to agree to share a stage again.

“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” they said.

All in all there’s 14 dates announced for the UK and Ireland leg of the Oasis reunion tour, going from Cardiff to Manchester to London to Edinburgh and then Dublin.

world tour is expected to follow, with dates for that due to be announced – and tickets go on sale at 9am on 31 August in the UK, or 8am if you’re in Ireland.

Now for the bad news, the Ticketmaster site is surely going to buckle under the strain isn’t it?

There are going to be blokes who’ve spent the past 15 years waiting for the day they could get their beloved Oasis t-shirt out of the wardrobe again and Saturday is going to be huge for them.

However, if a million of them all try and rush onto the Ticketmaster site at the same time, along with pretty much everyone else wanting to see Oasis, then it’s going to be a nightmare.

When Oasis announced their new tour for 2025, they had a bit on their site saying: “We strongly advise that those wishing to purchase tickets register in advance of the sale with the relevant ticket agencies.”

With such a rush for tickets, you’ll need to be as quick as possible to get them and there’s a few things you can do to speed up the process.

The main thing you can do ahead of time is go onto the ticket website you’ll be buying from and create an account ahead of time.

Have your details already registered and it’ll remove a major obstacle for you while also easing pressure on the page.

A steady internet connection will help too and despite what you might want to do, constantly refreshing the page won’t help much either.

Ticketmaster have also asked you not to sit on the event page waiting for the countdown, as you’ll only need to refresh it to buy tickets anyway.

Some Oasis fans have also said you might want to get ‘ticket insurance’, as though Noel and Liam have said their ‘guns have fallen silent’ there’s always a chance that something will happen.

It’s been a stormy relationship between the brothers in the past and some folks desperate to see Oasis have kept everything crossed that they’ll be able to avoid falling out before the tour starts.

You can get ticket insurance when you’re buying tickets, and it’ll cover you whether you can’t make it or the show gets called off.

Oasis has reunited after Liam and Noel Gallagher put their differences aside

British music is set for a Biblical summer after Oasis confirmed their return following a long 15 years without the iconic rock band.

Noel and Liam Gallagher simultaneously announced the return of the Manchester band, with 14 stadium and field concerts announced across the UK and Ireland in 2025.

The two brothers have seemingly been at war ever since Noel quit the band in 2009, saying he could no longer work with Liam after the frontman reportedly swung a guitar that ‘nearly took Noel’s head off’ at the Rock en Seine Festival in Paris.

But after teasing the return of Oasis over the August bank holiday weekend, the rock ‘n’ roll stars confirmed they had reconciled as they announced on social media: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Where are Oasis playing and when will tickets be for sale?

So far, 14 dates have been announced for the Oasis reunion tour with rumour out there that more could be on the way, including a headline slot at Glastonbury.

But that seems to have been cooled by the band itself, which said: “These dates will be the bands exclusive European appearances.”

Eight concerts will take place in July 2025 and six in August 2025 across Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.

The Cardiff gigs will take place at the Principality Stadium on 4 and 5 July, 2025 with the Manchester gigs taking place at Heaton Park on 11, 12, 19, and 20 July, 2025.

Oasis will then head to Wembley Stadium in London on 25 and 26 July as well as 2 and 3 August.

Two dates will be played at Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on 8 and 9 August, followed by two final concerts at Croke Park in Dublin on 16 and 17 August.

Tickets go on sale for the UK dates at 9.00am on Saturday, 31 August. Importantly for the concerts in Dublin, tickets will be available from 8.00am on the same day.

How much Liam and Noel Gallagher are set to earn for Oasis reunion tour

How much Liam and Noel Gallagher are set to earn for Oasis reunion tour

Apparently Noel would only do it for a sky high payday

Jess Battison

Sales of rain macs and bucket hats just went up. Probably.

Yep, Oasis have actually confirmed they’re going to do a reunion tour – and the Gallagher brothers are reportedly set to earn a shedload for it.

After getting the rumour mill going with a song dedication at Reading Festival and then a mysterious image at the Blossoms’ Manchester gig and on social media.

Announcing several dates across the UK and Ireland next year, the band announced: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Despite Liam and Noel’s famous feud splitting up the band almost 15 years ago, the brothers have seemingly put things aside enough to share the stage together.

It’s been reported that the brothers have been having some ‘late-night conversations’ and it allegedly led to Noel agreeing to reunite the band after being convinced by a £50 million initial payday.

A source told MailOnline: “Noel would only ever consider sharing the stage with Liam again if the money was astronomical and that’s what convinced him.

“They haven’t buried the hatchet and Noel will always have huge reservations about being in a band with Liam as he’s so unpredictable – both on and off stage.

“Certain conditions will have to be put in place in regards to safeguarding Noel’s presence in this comeback because he really can’t handle Liam’s form for being a liability.

“But the sums of money being offered will obviously help through any potential ordeals. It’s life changing cash – even for somebody already very rich.”

Well, if it does end up going ahead by the time we get to next summer, the lads are set to hit that ‘astronomical’ mark as music experts reckon it could gross a whopping £400 million.

Plus, there’s also rumours Oasis will take a headline slot at Glastonbury.

Although, that payday won’t be quite as sky high.

Fans pointed out that the tour dates announced ‘leaves a big gaping hole during Glastonbury week’.

The band last headlined Glastonbury in 2004, and since they’ve said their tour shows ‘will not be televised’, so them being on the Glasto broadcast would be the only way people not getting tickets could see them on the telly.

However, it’s probably best not to be relying on just that, as the Press Association understands that Oasis won’t be performing at the famous festival.

I mean, god knows how many thousands the pair will probably make from selling branded bucket hats alone.

Liam and Noel’s reps had no comment when approached by LADbible.
